Here's a tip --a good timeline is worth its weight in gold to your lawyer, especially in custody cases. Create a typed timeline of important events that your lawyer needs to know about: the first time there was problem with a visitation exchange, and each date thereafter or the first time your ex sent you a derogatory text. Anything and everything that you believe is important needs to be in your timeline.
